Welcome, and thank you for being here. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Alowyn Universal, Inc., doing business as Your PR Toolbox ("Your PR Toolbox," "we," "us," or "our") covering your use of the YourPRToolbox.com website and everything we offer through it (the "Services"). Please read them. When you create an account, buy a product, subscribe to a membership, or otherwise use the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
Your PR Toolbox is a practical learning resource for communications professionals and organizational leaders. Through the Services we offer, depending on what's available at any given time:
• Toolkits you can purchase and download.
• Memberships that include live interactive talks and a set number of downloadable topics each month.
• Paid trainings and live sessions.
• Group coaching sessions.
• Branded merchandise and other products we may add over time.
• A free resource ("The First 60 Minutes of a Crisis") available in exchange for your email address.
We may add, change, or discontinue any product or feature at any time.
To buy or access certain products, you'll create an account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.
• Be responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Use the Services only for lawful purposes and only as these Terms allow.
You may not misuse the Services - for example, by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the platform, scraping content, or using the Services to violate anyone's rights.
Pricing. Current prices are listed on the Services. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time, though changes won't affect a purchase you've already completed.
One-time purchases. When you buy an individual lesson, template, training, or product, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the full amount at checkout.
Memberships and subscriptions. A membership is a recurring subscription. When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method the membership fee on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Automatic renewal (please read - required under California law). Your membership automatically renews at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly) at the then-current rate, and your payment method will be charged automatically, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will disclose the renewal terms clearly at signup. You can cancel anytime from your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If we change your subscription price, we'll give you advance notice and the chance to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or cancel your access until payment is resolved.
If you hold an active membership, your benefits are described on the membership page (for example, a set number of monthly live interactive talks and a set number of downloadable topics per month). Unless we state otherwise:
• Monthly benefits do not roll over to the next month if unused.
• Benefits are tied to your active, paid membership. If your membership lapses or is cancelled, access to ongoing benefits ends, though anything you've already downloaded under these Terms remains subject to Section 6 (the license).
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with a purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. To request a refund, email us at support@yourprtoolbox.com with your order details within that window.
A few practical points:
• The 14-day guarantee applies to individual product and membership purchases.
• For recurring memberships, the guarantee applies to your initial purchase; after the first 14 days, cancelling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund a billing period already underway.
• Because our digital products are delivered immediately and can be downloaded and kept, we may decline refund requests where there is clear evidence of abuse of this policy (for example, downloading the full library and then requesting a refund).
This section matters, so we've made it clear.
All content we provide through the Services - including lessons, templates, tools, frameworks, talking points, written materials, graphics, video, audio, and the Your PR Toolbox name, logo, and tagline - is the intellectual property of Alowyn Universal, Inc. (doing business as Your PR Toolbox) and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We own it, or we have the right to use it.
Your license. When you purchase or access a product, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that material for your own individual use only - meaning your own professional or organizational work. That's it.
What you may not do. Unless you have our written permission, you may not:
• Copy, reproduce, or republish our materials beyond your own individual use.
• Share, distribute, send, post, or forward our materials to others, including colleagues outside your purchase, online groups, or the public.
• Sell, resell, license, sublicense, rent, or otherwise commercialize our materials.
• Use our materials to create a competing product or to train any artificial intelligence or machine-learning system.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notice, logo, watermark, or attribution.
A note on organizational use. A single purchase covers one individual. If you'd like to use our materials across a team, department, or organization, contact us about licensing - we're happy to help, and it keeps everyone protected.
Enforcement. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or resale is a violation of these Terms and of copyright law, and we reserve all rights and remedies available to us. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates this section.
Please read this carefully, because it defines what you can and cannot expect from us.
Everything we provide is general professional guidance based on experience. It is not legal advice, crisis-management advice for your specific situation, or a substitute for professional counsel retained for your particular circumstances. Every organization, crisis, and audience is different.
We make no guarantees about outcomes. We do not promise any particular result, reputation outcome, business result, or resolution from using our lessons, templates, or tools. You use all of our materials at your own discretion and your own risk. You are responsible for how you apply our guidance and for the decisions you make.
The Services and all materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law:
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, or reputational harm, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services or our materials - even if we've been advised such damages were possible.
• Our total liability to you for any and all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, USD $11).
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under California law (for example, liability for fraud or for willful injury). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Your PR Toolbox is hosted on Podia, a third-party platform that provides our website, checkout, content delivery, and related infrastructure. Your purchases are processed through Podia and its payment partners. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or systems of Podia or other third-party providers, and your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. You can stop using the Services at any time and may cancel a membership as described in Section 3. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or for other legitimate business reasons. The sections that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law - will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
